Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, Stacie attended South High School and then went on to graduate from Colorado State University – Pueblo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.  She graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 2010 and returned to her hometown to be near her family and began working in private law practice. Stacie is a founding partner of the law firm of Buxman and Shirley, PC and practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, probate, and corporate law.  Stacie is a firm believer in giving back to your community.  She has served on several nonprofit Boards including the Pueblo County United Way, Parkview Foundation, YMCA, and Villa Bella Expeditionary School.  Stacie is honored to continue her service to her lifelong community by serving on the Rawlings Foundation Board of Directors.

The mission of the Robert Hoag Rawlings Foundation is to assist nonprofit organizations with projects that are designed to improve the lives of people who reside in The Pueblo Chieftain circulation area, which are Pueblo, Mineral, Chaffee, Saguache, Rio Grande, Conejos, Fremont, Custer, Alamosa, Costilla, Huerfano, Las Animas, Crowley, Otero, Kiowa, Ben, Prowers and Baca counties, all in Colorado.
